THE LIAISON OFFICERS ASSOCIATION PROMOTES COLLEGIALITY BETWEEN U.S. AND INTERNATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE.
Our 200 active members are primarily U.S. law enforcement/security liaisons, and international liaison officers from embassies in the Washington, D.C. area. Our rolls also includes select members from relevant agencies, nongovernment organizations and private entities.
To be eligible for Membership, an applicant must be:
Sponsored by a current member in good standing.
Employed by a US or International police/customs/security agency - OR - a government
Required by their position to perform international liaison activities with the embassies in the DC area.
LOA is a PRIVATE organization and approval for admission is in the sole discretion of the Board of Directors.
